240 pounds over on drive axles - How screwed am I?

    I can't get it legal.

    Weights:

    Steer: 12220
    Drive axle: 34240
    Trailer axle: 30020
    Total: 76480

    I have 3/4 fuel in the tank.

    I've been overweight on steers by a couple hundred routinely. They've never said anything to me when I weigh at the scales (I also have an APU).

    however, this is the first time being overweight on the drive or trailer axle.

    I'm 240 pounds over on my drive axle. I am driving through GA, TN, KY MO, Iowa, NE.

    How screwed am I?

    If sliding the tandems isn't an option, you just need to figure out how far it is until the next scale, and how much diesel fuel you will burn off in that time.

    Its 240 pounds and you're not over gross I'd run that and not even think about it.

    dont lose sleep over 240 pounds. they will not waste the time writing a ticket for that being 3.5k under gross.

    What he said, if you think you must get legal, move the 5th wheel or tandems either which one you can, but personally I would ride with that.

    My trailer axles are slid up as far as they can go. They're in the 1st hole. I can't move them any further up. If I move them back some holes, it's going to put me even more overweight on my drive axles than the 240 pounds that I already am.

    I already scaled 3 times.

    at half a tank of fuel u should be legal if u got 150 tanks
