8.5 empty 7.3 loaded

Got my 2006 Century up to these numbers now 7.3 is loaded at 42,000 - 44,000 and of course not mountains but I think it's a far cry better than where I was when I first got this truck it was doing good to get 6.5 empty and 5.8 loaded if that ..

Just wanted to let the guys that say you can't get these EGR trucks to get decent fuel mileage are wrong . I'm pretty happy with my ole truck so far

 

How did u get it to that im thinking of buying a volvo 780 or a freightliner columbia both automatic

My project truck is a 2004 T2000 with the egr unplugged on an ISX 475, and it gets 10.3 empty and 7.8 loaded. Not bad, IMHO. Bone stock, rebuilt 300k ago.

Fleet 1 air
pitsburgh Power stack

Thats really all I've done

 

bruce and pitsburgh is a diesel mad man anything from him is well tested glad to see you got your detroit running good i will never own another one but thats another story

 

EGR delete and replace turbo or only ECM tune?

 

You realize you could have gotten by with spending HALF on that power stack don't you?

There's a Donaldson Muffler for less than $100 that is the same thing. Part# M100463
