I am going to C-1 Little Rock August 24th for PAM, well I told a buddy of mine about it and he asked me if we could run team. My question is how does one do this? Is it that you go through the training and when your done with your trainer you go team or what? If anyone has any info let me know, I know nothing about teams. Thanks everyone

Here's some basic info for ya'.....Companies love teams that will remain a team, such as husband/wife, brother/brother, father/son etc. Let the company know up front you two are friends and want to drive team. They will welcome you with open arms, for sure. You will have to train indivually, but will team up after your training. :yes2557:

I appreciate it. Thats what I was wondering. I'm really not sure if he could cut it though. Never know though. My dad is a part-time driver and he is thinking about teaming up with me he drove for 23 years before he went part-time.

Well first off thats kinda scary 2 guys with a whole 12wks between them running team...It will take both of you going out with a trainer getting a feel of the life style...Than maybe if they deem you qualified that might happen...

He isn't going, I knew he didn't seem to serious about it. So I explained that it's like nothing he has done, and that if he couldn't commit himself to it then he shouldn't do it. He called about 30 minutes after me telling him that and said he didn't want to go through with it. I'm no expert or anything but I used to stay out with my dad months at a time. I actually just got back from a 3 week run with him 2 weeks ago. So I feel like I have a good grasp on the lifestyle and things that go along with the industry, even though it's a different animal as a driver rather thatn a passenger.
