Flat bed is tuff and ruff in the winter...Does pay a bit more for tarpn and untarpn. Vans are best for a start but if ya like salt flatbed maybe ok for ya..

Yes, at least at swift you do, not much but a little more. The reason I asked is maverick and TMC are flatbed companies.

Swift, in my opinion, is a good company gain experience with. Just try not to get stuck in Laredo or Memphis terminals. You could be there a while. If you find yourself in Fontana, go to the Mira Loma yard about 8 or 9 miles away. And avoid a driver that calls herself "Firecracker ". I hope you never have to find out why I say that. From one trekkie to another, "Second star to the right and straight on till morning."
