Any issue with put a 90 GL rectangular fuel tank behind the cab?

    It is only 14inches Thickness,so we have enough space to install it . no warry about hit on to the trailer while turning.
    the only reason for installing is to avoid buy fuel from California.
    do you know is it against any regulations?I only know that it has to be DOT approved. and I have to make a mount bracket for it.
    I am planning to use a hand valve plus T joint to feed fuel to two side equally by gravity after getting some room on main tanks.

    You’ll just owe them at the end of the quarter, cheapest net fuel price en route and fill her up

    I would look for a used reefer tank. DOT approved, easy to make mounts, any size you need from 15-50 gal. Make some calls. Find truck/trailer salvage places or wrecking yards.
