Any knowledge about Accurate Auto Carriers in Howell, MI

My hubby was a car hauler for about 6 years with Allied and is looking to get back into it with Accurate Auto Carriers. Any comments on this company would be beneficial to his decision on going with this company. Thanks in advance!

 

Maybe no one has heard of them?? What about United Road (I think they have their terminal in Romulus, MI). He's really bored with what he's doing and wants to get back into hauling cars, but would prefer Jack Cooper.

 

I realize this is an old thread, but any info on Accurate Transport would be much appreciated.

 

My hubby worked for Accurate for about 8 months and it was terrible. I guess because he was used to the perks that Allied offered for so many years. Needless to say they didn't pay on time (they had payroll issues), they treated you as if you were a O/O and not a company driver (he ended up having to pay over $300 for overlength fines because of their truck's length) usually other companies pay for this, but this company expects you to avoid weigh stations, they pretty much force you to load your truck overlength and then you have to pay the tickets. I would say go in asking as many questions as you can. He needed a job really bad at the time, so he took it, but he kept looking for something else. I hope this helps!

 

Wow, I am sorry that happened to him and thank you for the heads up. I was kind of hoping those guys would have their act together.
