We're lacking a bit of info to give you any realistic pointers.

Your state of residence would be nice.

What types of jobs have you applied for ??

Are you willing to foot the bill, for a refresher ?

All these things weigh heavy against you for the moment.

Many companies aren't hiring from FL, VT and a host of other states.

Being past the 90 day mark from graduation, generally requires a refresher at many companies.

Looking for local, regional, OTR....or what? Local will take much longer to find, if you find it at all. Regional routes/hirings have slacked off for some companies. Others have been flooded by layed off Union drivers.

OTR is your best route, even that is getting difficult.

If you're waiting for that "magic" job to appear. You may want to drive by a couple of "driver trainer schools", and check out how many are willing to accept anything....to simply get a job.

The schools are churning out 4 drivers for every opening. With an additional 3 experienced drivers seeking that same job.

    Good luck with your search.

When you apply be persistent. Call to see if they recieved your application and call every other day to see when they want you to come for orientation.

I started out with a small company that had bobtail trucks and tractor trailers. When I proved my self in the bobtails they let me move up to the tractor trailer. I did offer to come in on my own time to ride with the other drivers in the class A trucks. A few people thought I was crazy for coming in on my own time. I was please when I was up graded in pay and truck. Best of luck to you.
