Anyone in Las vegas willing to help me get some driving experience?

Im looking to gain some experience I have a cdl but no experience.

 

It might be hard to find anyone to help because of insurance. Their insurance won't let just anyone drive their truck. That kinda were the Mega carrier come in that do their own training help. Trucking is kinda messed up because it hard to get experience. But you can't get job at without experience at most places.

 

@Chinatown might know of someone looking for a get away driver... Can you handle a standard, while evading pursuit???

Pick a MEGA.......Put in a year or so. DO NOT HIT ANYTHING!........including your trainer. You need to pay your dues in any industry. There are many opportunities in your location. Good luck

 

Really? Trucking is probably the easiest industry to get trained in.

 

Several trucking companies will hire you. I don't know of an individual truck owner that will though.

Pride Transport gives you a choice of manual or automatic transmission.

Knight Transportation manages/owns Swift Transportation and Kold Trans. If you go with Swift, go with refrigerated division; Swift Refrigerated; you'll make more money there.
All 3 of these probably hire you and have parking at Knight yard in Las Vegas.
Knight hired a driver in Las Vegas that hasn't driven since cdl school 10 years ago.

If a hair follicle drug test is of concern, then go with Western Express or Stevens Transport.
To my knowledge, they both still do urine drug test.
