    Greetings,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me anything about FFE Transportation.

I am considering a career in trucking (I'm currently a teacher). I have been accepted by FFE Transportation's CDL School. I have been researching the company, and haven't seen anything about the company in terms of how it treats it's drivers, etc.

Can anyone tell me anything about this company, so I have more information before I make my decision.

Maverick Transportation has also contacted me, but I think I like what FFE has to offer, but I know Nothing about the company in terms of what it's like to drive for them. I haven't found anything good or bad about them on this board.

Thanks in advance for any information/advice you can give me.

    Chuck

The only thing i know about FFE this may not help is my CDL Teacher in texas drove for FFE for 25 or more years he just praised the company alot he told us about a bunch of things he got to do way back when like testing out different types of auto transmissions..

i know he wasnt selling out for FFE because the school wasnt on the recruiting list for FFE and FFE didnt send any noobies to go there for School.. dont know if that helps out any just hearsay but its all i got

i never heard anything bad about FFE from a driver

FFE, been awhile since I was a trainee sitting in one of their trucks.
But, I still remember. They are a good company to work for just watch them on your miles and pay,(Every co. out there, Right?), Good personnell
and will work with you. Stupid of me to have quit them. But, So it goes.
All in all they are pretty good Co. to start out with. I'd go for it as I've never heard anything bad from even most of their former drivers. Later, NightHawk.

My brother, Curtis, a former FFE employee would tell you to, "Run, Run Away!"

    I'd agree with him.

My experience with them has been limited to the fuel islands. If you pull in behind one of their trucks you will be there a while. It would seem as if they feel they are in a permament parking spot and feel free to take as long as they want.
