It's called "Dispatcher The Truckers App" was fiddling with it to see if buying a truck down the road would be worth it and what kinda loads are being pulled and how for how much, etc.
I refuse to put any brokers apps on my phone... I pulled some loads for Coyote and they have an app. Looking at the permissions when you install the app you give them full access to everything on your phone, including pictures,SD card and text and emails... Screw that! It was uninstalled about 2 minutes later. Never looked into that particular app but be careful. As long as it is my phone and they don't supply a different phone to you no way.. Why would a broker need all my contacts, emails, texts and pictures.....BS!
https://www.yahoo.com/tech/every-time-you-install-an-android-app-youre-96472267914.html You should read this, app developers have to declare those things even when it doesn't really mean exactly the way the app is showing it. It's the libraries used in the process of compiling the app which makes them have to say that. Google's wording is vague and makes it seem more sinister than it really is. I.e. this app lets you call the shipper from the app itself so it will say "phone access" even though it has no access directly to any other function of your phone. or an app may let you save it to your SD card to save space on your phones internal memory so it will say "SD/Memory access, etc. It's stupid how they word this stuff because it gets people paranoid thinking it's more than what it is.
