I recently applied on line at U.S.Xpress. I was told that my application was being reviewed, and that I would be contacted soon. I even e-mailed them and still, No Response. This has been over 2 months. If this is how the recruit, I can only imagine how it would be working here. I guess they have enough driver that they don't need anymore.

    You've got 4 years. They ain't interested.

    Students and teams.

Plus the fact that the market has been flooded with drivers seeking employment over the past few months.

I already done that, I applied at TMC, and they are processing my application. Just thought I would rather drive van over flatbed. Guess its time for a new adventure. Also I have been driving a straight truck recently, and they may feel I may need to take a refresher course, since I have been away for almost 2 years.

Scratch that one too. You're too old, unless you current flat bed experience.

They deny they "discriminate". But they do. Been there done that. Clean DAC, 17 years plus experience without a moving violation. Glowing referances. So if they don't discriminate, where was the problem?

The 2 years is most likely what is hurting you with the majors. Try looking into a smaller outfit.
