I recently graduated and achieved getting my CDL A. I started school back in december and because of the virus and other stuff I was only recently able to get a test date and get my CDL. I am now looking for trucking jobs, but I am not feeling so confident on my backing skills. Can anyone recommend any Trucking companies that accept recent CDL grads and gives you a decent bit of training when it comes to Backing up.

hate to tell you this, but many companies may just up and tell you to go back to CDL school.

if i recall, it is a very narrow window, to get a job out of CDL schools.

yes, the virus hit us, the riots hit us, so i cannot say any "leeway" any company is just going to up and give you, over any NEW recently trained CDL students.

Correct. After about six months, you forgot everything. Check with your school, most have a short refresher course.

Check with your prospective employer first, naturally.

I'd also talk to your trainer once you are with a carrier. Let him/her know where you think your strengths/weaknesses are and why. Any trainer worth the title will work to strengthen your skills before you go solo.

    Are you in Kentucky?
Plenty of companies will take care of you.
How old are you? The reason I ask is because some companies have minimum age requirements, but none have maximum age requirements.
    Do you have endorsements?

Coffey and Wasted Thyme Thank this.
