I have a 19 JL Jeep and was wondering if it be better with something like the skip shooter. Or will going a foot longer worth it, just will hit a bunch of things with it. The mount is halfway up the spare tire holder, thanks in advance.

I would use something lighter line a Francis, Firestik Firefly, or K40 makes one but I can't remember the name. Longer is always better but a 5' fiberglass regular size antenna has alot of mass that will be trying to swing around when you are off road. It puts a lot of stress on the mounts and base of the antenna.

Yep, the absolute "all" is an overstatement. "Some" or "many" would fit better.

On that mount maybe get a metal plate made and mount it for use of a mag mount..Even if you go to an underground parkade the whip will only bend then after your out will go back to normal..
A 102" or 108" would be nice but it will whip and wiggle like a cooked noodle..
