In your opinion, what are the best and/or the most fun truck stops out there? I have heard about Iowa/I-80 being pretty good.

just places with the best food, entertainment and all of that.

That 76 on the south side of Chicago was a hum-dinger,,most of the great mom and pop truckstops that were along Hy.41 were simply the best,,,all gone now.

Jubitz in Portland used to be good. Bar and movie theater etc. But I never went to truck stops to be entertained. Good parking, food and truck service if I needed it were the things I looked for. Boise Stage Stop, Gee Cees in Washington are a couple that come to mind.

These days all I want is to get in, fuel and get out.

Just going from memory, not sure if they are still around, in Youngstown, Oh. there was atruck stop with a bar with music, same with Yakima, Wa. Most of the cat houses in Nv. have truck parking and booze. I-80 in Walcott, Ia. Wheeling, W.V. T/A bar across parking lot. Sapp bros Denver, bar across street, truck stops exit 37 El Paso, Tx, shuttles to Juarez for fun and frolic. Yes, I do like a cold one before beddy bye when possible.

Truckworld. I80 ex234. Don't know if the bar is still there but in the past, they had the BEST wings. Always used to get the Golden Wings. The bar was always busy in the evenings. Was nice to just sit and BS with half a dozen drivers while watching a game

    Wait… What?
    people stop at Truck Stops?

I don’t even like parking at most of them… although Iowa 80 in Walcot is an exception.

But ya most, only stop for fuel and roll.
