Sounds like you now have preventable accident on your permanent record! You did the right thing by taking pictures but most likely risked Werner's account with that customer.

Mistakes happen, but man, GET OUT AND LOOK!!! If you don't you aren't going to last long in this profession. You don't just back up until you hit something.

Not trying to be mean, but there is no excuse for that! I'm trying to be a little harsh so that you don't do it again! Your license is your bread and butter and you now have a ding on it.

To answer your question, they can fire you, but will most likely write you up and you will have to go through their safety class. Maybe a drug test.

You need to report it before the store manager does. It will be a lot worse on you if they do first.

You ###### up man, but you did the right thing when you took pictures! Always take picts! Safety will ask you for them. Also when involved with another vehicle, NO MATTER HOW PETTY, always call the authorities.

You also want to always report your crack ups. If you get in a fender bender, no matter what it is, always tell safety. If they find out you didn't, they will immediately terminate you. They can also garnish your DAC with leaving the scene of an accident.
