Broker and Carrier.. where to connect??

    Hello, does anyone recommend a place .. Website, forum, etc ... where a carrier can connect with brokers servicing specific Lanes or customers? ... Other than load boards...

    Short of calling shippers within the lanes you want and asking them which brokers they use, no can't think of anyplace. But I'm sure somebody here will have a better idea than mine.

    Yeah i haven't found any forums that will connect truckers with customers or brokers. The cold calls are such an outdated method.

    Surprisingly, it's not allowed here either.

    Nature of it. They're looking to keep this from turning into a loadboard, and keep brokers and recruiters from harassing other members. I don't necessarily like that I can't PM you guys direct, but I can respect it.

    Cold calling isn't outdated at all. Call customers direct in routes you're interested in. Takes time and perseverance but that's pretty much what a broker does to drum up a customer list too. Here's a good place to start:
