Buckeye DC accepting transfers, and may actually do a hiring !!!

Well, a rare situation has come up. Buckeye AZ DC is looking for 10 transfers / hires. First would be transfers, and if they don't get what they need, they will be doing a hiring.

This is just a heads up for any Walmart drivers who have been looking to transfer in. It is also a heads up for those looking to hire in. I will update as I know more information.

Hopefully, this will mean a bit more seniority. Woohoo !!

PS, contrary to popular belief, they do not overcook brats, chicken, steak, hamburgers or anything else. The food is to die for. If they do end up hiring, this will be the first since my group hired on 2 years ago, and it was 6 years before that. Buckeye is a very desirable DC that rarely hires. We have a fantastic GTM, and a fantastic staff. It is a great DC to work out of.

 

That's only 3miles from my house, But I already have a cushy gig. lol

 

Nothing is posted yet. Are they extra board positins or full time?

 

Right now they are just accepting transfers. They are looking for 10 drivers. If they do not get 10 transfers in, they will be doing a hiring. I will update the board when I know if that is happening.

There is nothing on the walmartone otr driver request transfer page yet. Maybe there will be this week.

 

In the August 8th newsletter, it was said that they are in the process................. which may be why it has not shown up yet.

 

Gottcha, Had my name on thelist a few years back and got thte offer it just wasn't a good time for me to transfer. Not to excited about being on the extra board for how ever long but, that's part of the deal.

 

Well, Buckeye is a hard one to get off of the extra list. It is a great DC to work out of, though.
