If you want to be flown home in a box I guess they will do that. The could care less for their drivers and have disrespect for the family of the driver that died. The site wont allow me to put into words how I really feel about England

They push the lease so much. They talk about in the school portion. They tell you you will make $.90 a mile minus .14 in variable mileage .07 in maintainance .025 for hwy use tax. Thats .665 a mile. It take at least .5 just to run the truck down the road. $500 a week tk payment $125 insurance $35 for this a few more things I forgot everything since I was there. But I can tell you this. It takes 2000 miles Just to make a buck then ycan only avg about 3000-3300 miles a week solo. "Oh but but I can get that variable mileage. Even if you maximize your possibility to get them off. It would take 3 yrs to get them taken off.

TALK TO AN INSTRUCTOR. ASK THEM IF THEY WOULD EVER DRIVE FOR CRE. If they cant look you in the eye and say yes with affirmation. Don't do it. Jim is the most honest guy in there.

WTH? You're the type of person that makes me doubt humanity deserves to exist.

Covenant is not a bad company for starting out, although you might also want to try us xpress as well. Ft England and swift are for sure the worst companies

Turbo trucker is right. I was a lease operator for cre for 2.5 yrs. I was successful but only because I didn't go home. If your single and don't care if your out 3 plus months at a time you can make it. But if you want to go home even every 6 weeks you will most likely fail. If you can stick with being out 3 to 6 months and then taking 3 or 4 days off it might work. I have a friend still their in a company position that is only getting 1800 to 2000 mi a week.

    Haha!

This is the concept of all driving schools. All driving schools care about is that you get your CDL. Your real training doesn't start until you have a CDL in your hand and you're in a trainers truck.

    CDL school = 3 weeks

Phase I and Phase II training at CRE = 3 months

Get your facts straight before posting BS.
