Hey everyone I applied at CRE and got accepted into their CDL training program supposed to leave friday for Richmond Indiana, and I know a lot of you have bad things to say about them. Well after reading the various articles against CRE and the few VERY few good things I also applied for prime. Well I spoke to a recruiter (Tabitha Very nice btw) and she told me to call back today at 4 well I did and they were having issues contacting one of my previous employers well the conversation lasted all of 8 minuites and her doing a simple web search to find the telephone number for them ( I supplied the number for my supervisor with the company) Now I'm supposed to call her again tomorrow morning. Should I give Prime a chance or just leave tomorrow night for CRE. Positive and negative opinions welcomed. Thanks
I would wait to see what Prime offers before going to CR England. Regardless of the negative stuff youve heard about CRE (ive heard it too), its always good to weigh a couple of different options with a career choice that is this important. You can still go to CRE if Prime doesn't work out right?
That is true, If the call tomorrow doesnt go well I still have the Greyhound ticket for CRE tomorrow night.
Haha prepare to bend over and take it. I would go flip burgers before I work for CRE...do your homework. I would say even go with Swift or Weiner before you try them. Ive never done OTR, but all the complaints, even if not completely true have strains of truth in them. Do yourself a favor.
It is all who you want to work for but just starting you do need to start somewhere before you get that better job. But I know for a fact that in all these big companies there is someone out there making bank working for them.
Check out the prime section for more info on them. There's plenty of positive posts regarding there training. I went with prime and while the company didn't work out for me, I would say without a doubt I would do prime all over again if i needed my cdl. as far as cre. Ive heard very good things about them and even worse from there drivers at my current job.
