I just did my first service since I bought the truck. Used Rotella T4.

Filled up in Hebron, OH loaded with paver brick probably grossed around 77-78. Ran 70 to Indianapolis, then 74 up to Davenport, then 80 and 380 to Cedar Falls. Unloaded. Dead headed back to Davenport(Walcot)

Miles were 791. I put in 115.9 gallons.
Running Pete 387 C15 mbn at 475hp 18sp 3.70 rears. 53ft Reitnouer conestoga. Average speed of 65 mph

Was I blessed? Or will I continue to see these numbers?

Wind direction and Wind speed matters. But it's not impossible to touch 7mpg with MBN BXS MXS...

That's been my experience also. The wind seems to be the biggest factor. I get in the high 6's with a W9, 6NZ pulling a van. 3.36 rears tuned injectors putting 501 to the ground.

    W903B and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

No its not. Not with a conestoga and a c15 and 3.70 rear . With my aero truck and x15 cummins and flatbed 6.8 is about average

It's putting out over 600 hp to have that number, so how's that so bad? Stock engine with just tuned injectors. I could get it a lot higher but it is fine for me right now as is.
