About a year ago I hit a taillight for $1400 damage while avoiding sideswipes from the driver next to me. I was ticketed for careless driving and took the driver improvement school to get adjudication withheld. I'm unsure of whether it stays on my MVR and I am going to get a copy on Monday to check. I have been disclosing it in applications to Roehl, Millis, and Conway but I'm not sure if it still means immediate disqualification if there is enough demand as of now. The CRST recruiter claimed to not see anything on my record but they may be lying to have me sign a 4k loan agreement. Does anyone have a good idea of whether I can leave it off applications to the carriers that sponsor CDLs or carriers I can aim for who would still hire me. My record is totally clean otherwise.
Find out what it says on your MVR and then only disclose what is public record. Don't rat yourself out for something you were not convicted of.
Although recritters lie, when it comes to something on your record like careless, they're not going to hire you just so you'll go to their school.Tomorrow when you get your NVR and no careless is on there,I wouldn't mention it anymore applications.
