Don’t do anything else until you’re back in your truck doing a pre trip inspection.
It’s not rocket surgeryaustinmike and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
I always certified my logs when I went off duty for home time, and then after my pre-trip when I came back.
No need to certify anything if your duty status has not changed, and many systems won't even let you certify if your duty status has not changed.austinmike, Concorde and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
That’s my understanding anyway but I’ve been wrong more than once.
My particular ELD Big Road will show an annoying alert for any that aren’t signed so I just sign them all.
I really don’t want alerts showing if I get inspected because they’ll probably get digging deeper looking for something. -
snowlauncher, Walk Among Us, AModelCat and 1 other person Thank this.

Would not you have to be on duty, logged into the ELD to be able to certify?

I would see messages that said my logs needed updated…i would respond to GFYAhole as i was off duty..after a few i assumed the messages were generated automatically…never a issue..id be off for a month sometimes before updating..
