Hey guys I was wondering if I could get some advice from fellow truck drivers.

I purchased a truck that has chrome fenders, bumper, wheels, visor etc...

The chrome fenders were not polished because of dried bits of concrete on them and they said it would rip their machine if they tried to go over it....

I will polish them myself but I need to know how I can remove the dried bits of concrete on them first... any tips please and thank you.

Don't use acid. It will etch your chrome.

I used to use muriatic acid all the time.

I did a web search and found a product called Zep Mud-Slide RTU.

The description says it was specially designed for dissolving concrete buildup from Ready-Mix trucks

I wasn't able to find if it's safe for chrome, though

Pressure washer with the right tip will take concrete off anything. Last one I used would cut a cinder block in half with one of the tips. Boss locked that one in his desk.
