Does anyone know what chesapeake is paying their truck drivers per hour.i have hazmat and tanker plus pull flatbed.been driving for 12+yrs.
Don't waste your time. Get on with SRWR, GDS, or one of the other outfits hauling for Cabot. Chesapeake only has one frac crew in the area at present and they're not exactly busy. Cabot on the other hand is hammering along. There are a lot better outfits to work for than Chesapeake. It isn't Hawg Hauling any more. I threw them an app 4 months ago just to see what would happen and just now got an email saying the position is closed.
Chesapeake owns oilfield transportation solutions in oklahoma. I talked to a crude hauler a few years ago and was getting 17 an hour. Only real upside is the benefits
You wouldn't be wasting your time, I assure you. CHK has more than just one company. Please email me and I'll get you correct information. christina.hughes@chk.com
I'm very well acquainted with Chesapeake's operations in my neck of the woods. I've yet to see an increase in work that would make me think applying would be a good idea. Also, I own my own tractor, but your rates for O/O transport haulers are shockingly low. Less than $1.50 a mile based on rates I've had quoted, to haul wastewater to OH. Not worth the extra equipment needed (wet line), or the extra attention from PennDOT and OH DOT.
