I noticed that on ITS - it was a little weird at first but I see it as valuable for the broker who pays for ITS. It's a little obnoxious when you accidentally click on a load that you had no interest in moving and then get the phone call.

Didnt know about the opt out wichris - thanks!

Click on a TQL load play dumb snowwy...I can see how that would go.

"Hey you clicked on our load going from a to b"
    "I did?"
"Yes that's why I'm calling what rate would make this load work for you"
    "Oh bout $2500"
"Oh I can't do that I'm all in at $1250 there's no profit in it for me at $2500"
"Well that's what I'd need to move it"
"That's highway robbery somebody will move it for $1250".
"Yea and your going to make 70% profit off that driver...THATS highway robbery!"
    Click.
    Click.

You search a market on ITS and it puts you on the "hot prospect" list for the brokers, in addition to click notifications.

I found it annoying at first, but never got around to calling and asking them to disable it. I'm glad I didn't. It has led to brokers calling me on loads I would have passed over, only now I have leverage since they're needy enough to call hot prospects. I usually wring out a really good rate, and most times those loads are ready with no delay.

well, this load was ready. and the rate was good. considering the area i'm in. but i would just be deeper into the dead zone. instead of closer to where i need to be on monday.

so how does one disable this feature cuz i haven't found it yet???

Just call ITS and tell them you don't want it. They have to set it, as it's not in your user controls.

It's ok... let them call. Whenever a broker calls ME for a load regardless of a posted truck or click, I always ask for a very high rate.. Sometimes you get it!

Quote them a high enough rate to cover the bounce to where you need to be on Monday, you might get lucky.
