Clutch and rear main replacement

    Clutch for Eaton 15 speed and rear main seal for a 4MG 3406B. Needing some part numbers, thanks.

    The rear main should be a 2W-1734. I can't give you a clutch number, but the opening in the middle of the flywheel is smaller on the B models than newer engines I believe, so a newer 1850 easy pedal may not fit. I don't know enough to tell you specifically, just be aware that it can cause a problem.

    Unless someone has updated the flywheel to the 10inch center bore it will be a 8.5in center bore flywheel. The 8.5in center bore clutch I usually use is Eaton easy pedal P/N:108391-74, Eaton only offers a 1650ftlb clutch for the 8.5in bore anymore.

    Thankfully I learned this valuable lesson on a 9670 IH B model, 13 speed and was putting trans in from the top. You can not get trans to mate to engine.

    Stupid me. Double check the parts guys work.

    The 8.5 hole cam be opened up to 10 had one done or just use a e model flywheel
