How much would you guys expect to spend to replace your clutch? 2012 Cascadia with the self adjusting clutch going to a manual adjustment

About $1800 - $2000. Lots of variables there. Torque rating. Core charge ( I buy them from a bone yard for less ), local labor rate. If you do not surface the flywheel you probably have no warranty. Input shaft, fork, crosshaft and bushing condition. I always pull those shafts, old hard grease made me pull one twice. PTO, awful shift, U-joint, cooler hoses?

Ok thanks. They gave me a quote for 2500. I thought this was a little pricey

Somewhere in the ballpark of $1,800-$3,000 depending on how deep you need to go into things as well as where you take the truck. Dealers are usually a bit more.

My Total bill was about $5000.00 BUT, I got a new clutch with all the accessories that go with it, had my RTO15613 rebuilt, rear main seal and rear engine plate/cover replaced, r/r motor mounts, r/r trans cooler line and return fuel lines from the splitter back to tanks, and carrier bearing replaced. And, I had to get the oil pan gasket replace, they had to remove the oil pan to get a good seal for the rear engine cover. Lots of labor involved. I think a got a bargain.

I would say so. I just invested about $1,600 into "rebuilding" an RT0-15615 and that was basically just new bearings, seals, input shaft, 2 forks and resealed pistons in the aux section. Did it myself so having a shop do it I'd imagine it'd have been a $3,000 bill.

Bought new one last year... clutch, throw out bearing and pilot bearing for $550 over the counter. Just parts though. I think it was a 1620 tq? They say 10 hours labor but I got it down to about 6. So another $1200 labor minimum, plus, plus, plus.....

$2500 in a dealer doesent seem like a streach.

Thanks for all the info. Prices seem kinda varied. It sounds like the price from my shop is reasonable (not a dealership btw)

I had mine done in Feb. $2100 and change. 2050lbft clutch, resurfaced flywheel, new input shaft and seal, new cross shaft.
