Iowa troopers nab commercial vehicle for hitting triple digit speeds, 17 other violations
Someone may have just solved the State of Iowa’s budget deficit problem!
100 mph in a 65 mph zone!

Carrier authority should be revoked by the fmcsa. Truck and trailer should be seized by the State of Iowa.

 

They’d have to get the trailer fixed first.

Some of us haven’t-most company trucks are governed around 65 mph for this very reason.
We ain’t trying to get time and severity points (you can thank CSA 2010 for that).

 

Most guys driving governed trucks start to get nose bleeds if they hit 70. Triples would make their ears bleed.
