As a owner and former owner of both units I would say buy the koolatron.

Go buy a Truck fridge, it's expensive $499.99 but well worth it, They are in Georgetown KY, Due a Google search.

If not get an igloo 12v cooler. I've had amazing luck with mine plugged in for month at a time. Works extremely well. If you want the best buy dometic.
