I'm trying to do some research and was wondering what the main differences were between Farm 2 Fleet, Mercer, Landstar... As far as I can tell they are all O/O companies... But how do they differ? Which one is 'better' to try for?

    Thanks for your info :)

PS.. Cross posted because the crickets were taking over the other post ;)

Mercer, Landstar, large companys that will take a while to gain seniority. F2F, smaller and looking to expand. I would see what F2F was willing to do for me, if I was interested. Good luck on the hunt.

Well I do know about one. ....Landstar. No Matter how many years experience ,weather 50 or 1 you have to "PROVE" yourself , to be worthy of getting the loads(High Rate) HIDDEN for special drivers.

Wow, that is a huge compliment to be mentioned as an option against two great companies. As to not violate the policies if the forum, please email or call me and I would be happy to discuss what we offer.

that's not a true statement, at mercer you are on equal footing from day one. its a first unloaded/ first offered deal. it doesn't matter if ya been here 2 days or twenty years, you line up for loads by the time you get unloaded. if you call in unloaded here before you actually are and get caught, its automatic termination of your lease.

so you don't have to prove yourself with seniority.
