Where can I get these at, or do they need to be made? I have blunt ended pins and would like a coned end. All input appreciated.

You got a grinder. You can grind them down yourself

Know anyone with a plasma cutter? I don't know what type trailer you have but trailking pins are tapered on one end. The best pins I have found are the hitch pins from D8,s any cat shop has them.

You can order a set from the trailer mfg, they are not that expensive, trust me I know, unless of course you need them overnighted....

Thanks guys I'll look at the Cat pins and mfg for a set. I just have some that the dealer had laying around when I picked this unit up and they cost me an hr or more of my life trying to get last one in. I could've had a tapered one in just a few min

    johndeere4020 Thanks this.

If you have mech. Neck dump air suspension. Then if it has it raise the trailer suspension, with trailer brakes released and air bags on flip deflated you can fanagle the axle around some to slip the pins in. Then I lay the shims in last if your setup uses them

Raise and lower is your friend on pin install and removal

Yeah it was 2/3mm off and a coned end would've been in alot sooner. Thanks again for your help guys

This is the truth, on my pin on I have two quarter turn valves that I can open and close to raise and lower the axle suspension. I can usually put my pins in by hand, I can take a picture if it helps.
