Hi guys and girls, There have been many times when I have been unloading my chemical tanker and wished I had a certain combination fitting outside the standard ones in my toolbox. Maybe it was a straight extension pipe, or a non-reducing "blow by", or a piece with a bleeder on the bottom and a Chicago fitting on the top. I've scanned the catalogs of the major manufacturers and haven't seen what I needed. Do any of you have experience with someone that does custom, welded, fittings? Thanks!
I'm sure if you bought the fittings you wanted combined into 1 fitting and took them to a good weld shop they could do it for you. When I was in the fertilizer industry I custom welded ALOT of fittings myself for both chemical storage systems and chemical tanker trucks.
