It might need a dealer reflash of the EAS-3 ECM, though usually the gauge reads the correct level while the light blinks on the gauge when that's the issue. Otherwise, you may be looking at a faulty sending unit, faulty wiring, or even a faulty instrument cluster module. You're asking a question for specifics when there's more than one possible reason for the issue existing, and providing zero diagnosis. I'd try my crystal ball, but #### my luck, it was made in China, and that 'crystal' turned out to be plastic resin, to boot, and of course there's no warranty. So getting to the bottom of the issue is going to have to be done the old fashioned way.
