L/Ops, O/Ops, from March 6, 2001 to present you are eligible to join in the suit.

Company drivers April 9, 2009 to present. Evidently it is about getting shorted by being paid HHMM vs practical miles. Worst I ever got screwed was 127mi paid vs 176mi by the fuel route on the Qualcom.

This will be a long wait for a small check! :biggrin_25522:

I never heard anything about it but I know I get shorted miles on a ton of loads, QC message will say 722 miles and then the route they give is 789 just for an example.

For L/O and O/O that could add up to a ton of money, its small for a company driver like me but its still messed up they do it this way.

I just got the letter today. It may be the reason that Swift changed their name from "Swift Transportation Inc." to "Swift Transportation of Arizona LLC" they were preparing for this lawsuit.

Well if you're an OO or LO you don't have to follow the routing.

It's a dumb lawsuit. Not like it was a secret they were/(are still?) using HHG miles.

I didn't always follow the fuel route. Never was harrassed about out of route miles. Some guys had DM's that were anal about it.

IIRC you sign paper work in orientation saying you know you are getting paid HHMM.

I ignored it often as well, I asked if I could go OOR a few times.
DM always said no..but if I still didn't follow it they never said anything.
As long as you got Fuel where they wanted you to, I didnt see why it mattered.

Once went from WI to Dallas, one of the Fuel Stops was Peculiar Mo (FJ). So they wanted me to go down back upto 435, and down 35.I fueled there but didn't go back up.
Or if the Route wasway out of line with an idiotic Fuel Stop, I would just tell them I couldn't make it so I could go a different way.
