difference of 02 c15 and 98 3406e

    whats the major difference of a 2002 c15 (trucks a 03) the truck im going to go look at is a 1999 fld 3406e. are they more bulletproof than the c15? anything major to look at ? thanks

    E motor has different (and more troublesome) electronics

    I guess it depends on the model of 3406E. I have a 2WS model. No problems with any electronics

    That sounds like BS. E model is more prone to oil leaks changes with the C15 block eliminated that problem. Other than that either, or should be good to go.

    well nevermind now. i didnt go, i got a tip the truck wasnt worth even looking at. but aint nothing like the whine of a CAT motor

    So sparky what is wrong? E motors have less reliable electronics than a c15

    your funny! why are the (electronics less reliable) on an e-model compared to a c-15 6nz? explain.

    When you answer a question with a question it shows you don't know what you are talking about. To answer your question the software on c15 is completely different it process much faster and more parameters than a "e" motor. Sparky
