Everything I know about trucking whether it's about carriers, schools, preparation for schools, preparation while in school, OTR training, etc., etc., etc., has come from the pages of this forum. I've had a few wannabes ask me for advice but it occurs to me that the best advice I can give is to refer a wannabe to the threads that helped me. I'll start with a thread of my own only as a starter. If you remember some threads that were helpful to you, share the link.

(NOTE TO WANNABES: Within these threads/posts you'll keep running across the same names over and over again. That's a good thing. There are many members here who make it their business to help wannabes and newbies. Latch on to those members and zero in on their posts.):biggrin_25514:

good call. i notice quite a few people who seem to be new to the forum thing, namely the search function, and ask a lot of the same stuff over and over.
