i know we talked about this in the felon thread, but i was wondering if i could get an update? Specifically concerning weekly mileage; i know dirksen deals with food containers and we know food isn't slowing down (or is it?) during this "supposed" slow economy (i think it's mostly a media thing, but that's for another thread). If garderner runs cabovers, then i'm down with them as well.
Helps if identify the city of the company you're talking about. Is it Gardner out of Chino, Ca? They are not cabovers, do a lot of cardboard, van, flatbed.
i think garderner is in socal somewhere, and i believe dirksen is in manteca (san jose??). i really don't know anything about both companies, although they appear promising.
dirksen, gardner, lanting hay,and there is one more i don't remember but they are all the same . A Tom Lanting and family are the owners out chino ca.
They do have a lot of cabovers to pull 57' roller floor vans, and to get into places that have the 65' length limit. But they do many other types of freight as well.
