Seems pretty generic to me. Who are the warranties thru, the oem or a third party?

Milage on the truck? Year? Model? Price. From what I see NO! Those warranties aren't what they're cracked up to be and I'd hope all 6 injectors, the turbo and the water pump all went out within that first year. Reason being is the injectors are $450-650/injector, turbos very in price figure $2000 and god knows what for a water pump. As for the rest hope it goes out within the first 200k. And depending on the warranty company even if they honor your warranty its a drag ### session. So your trucks going to sit for a while. I would prefer to deal with CAT, Cummins, or Detroit with warranty work. In house no middle 3rd party crap. No drag ### either. Eaton has a decent warranty on reman transmissions you deal with Eaton never heard much complaining.

Take into account you will pay for that warranty. If you run 2500/week you won't even get a year out of the warranty before your injector turbo and water pump coverage falls off. At 100001 miles it does you no good and that's when things will go wrong. Also keep in mind there's more to a truck than a drive train. Little things can add up to a set of injectors, turbo, or transmission rebuilt. Put 4 air bags on at $200/bag plus 4 hours labor at $98 you have almost replaced a turbo. I see nothing on suspension. Do spring bushing at $78 for a lair plus 8 hours labor and a 3 axle alignemrnt your talking some serious cash. Yes its nice to have the big things covered but the small things add up really quick.

READ the fine print too. Think about the replacing the front cover. Rad, ac condencer, etc comes out hood come off, there's about $3000 out the door for a repair. That ain't covered under warranty remember internal engine parts. Rear main, not covered. Etc. There is a laundry list of things the warranty doesn't cover. I can think of many better things to waste 2-3k on myself. But that's just my opinion. If you can get some use out of it its worth it. Keep in mind through the warranty company isn't going to warrant a POS either. And I have a feeling they will also blame driver error or "abuse" to get out of a big claim as well.
