Been On E Logs From the Start when they started using them here at Swift an I like them. Ive Been driving some 20 plus Years now and wish they had them a long time ago. I get more miles due to the fact I log only time used and not time not used. I have matched them up with paper logs and save anywhere up to 5-6 hours a week. But here are some facts that I have tried and tested. Its true you can't change line 3, but you can change the other three "OFF" "SLEEPER" "ON DUTY NOT DRIVING". So if you stop and forget to change your duty status for the night or a break its easy to change and fix to make it right. rumor 7/10 nope gone up 8 miles off duty. fact shows drive over 5 mph but drove yard speeds at customers and it showed H.O.S. but when got assigned door it was still where I put it when i left it at the gaurd shack. I show my delivery when i first get there and not when I am done due to the fact that then I would have to sit the 15 min before I can leave. Fact they do mount them to the dash and Owners I feel you should be able to make the choice where you want your put. After all its your truck and your hard earned money that is paying for it. The split screen or split logs on a line is a little tricy at first but once you have done it a couple of times it gets easy. Fact if you do any work that is under 5 min it goes to the last line that you was on before you stopped, took off, pre tip area, ect.....
forgot to tell you the key board is small and your fingers will hit other keys but there is a fix for that you can buy a wireless keyboard and attach it to it or even a wireless mouse if you prefer to use the touch screen key board.
