While im in the lets wait and see camp and ill be honest. I haven't had a chance to really dig into this. If it works as promised on the surface, then its about #### time. Too bad for the hundreds and likely thousands maybe even tens of thousands of companys put out of business by this crap. But twenty years late is better then never. And even then they only addressed it at all because farmers. But better then nothing.

That said one comment sticks in my mind "run out of def"....knowing the psycopaths at the EPA, it wouldnt suprise me if any fault still killed your rig on the side of the road. But if you run the tank dry it will keep on going.

With all the technology available surely they could make the truck smart enough to switch off def if possible and maybe run the engine a little different to compensate and still achieve low emissions and soot .....I mean how did engines deal with soot before DPF and def came along?? They burned it all out in black smoke.....but the tree huggers would get mad at that ...
