Got my CDL in 2007 couldn't get job because of background. Now years later im still looking. Most companys that would have hired me are no longer in business. Does anyone know of any company that will train someone that has CDLs and also gives refresher courses. My convictions are over 6yrs old
Hey bud, don't give up hope. I heard about a prison in Texas that teaches truck driving, so having a felony is not an automatic no hire. To get some expirence you might try a local sand and gravell outfit, seems to me all you need is a pulse to get on with most of them. Remember the worrds of FDR - If you think you can, you're halfway there. Good luck
Wow, the gravel companies around you require a pulse?!? Hell most of em here would put a corpse behind the wheel if they knew who to blame in an accident.
