just got home this morning and half my roof was gone from the storms and had to leave a message with recruiter saying i would have to try to come back in a week[its a mobile home] and will have to do the work myself due to trailor insurance wont cover roofs.the problem i see is that will put me almost a month since i got my cdl and worries me about gettin back in the truck at orientation.just wondering if the company will consider that if i am rusty.

I think under the circumstances your recruiter will understand. The main thing is you keep in contact with him or her and since you left him/her a message, you should call him first thing tomorrow morning.Sorry about your trailer.

Your home and family should ALWAYS COME FIRST.

If they feed you a line of BS, what can you do??

    Start all over again.

But KEEP IN CONTACT and get the roof and other repairs done ASAP.

Good luck to you and your family.
