another great week winds to a close. i will have a gross of $1,100 on around 47 hours of work. i cant complain at all. i had a load that i was dumping off and had to wait for someone else to dump so i had to park on a fairly steep hill. the parking brake wasnt holding...... the brakes are decent but the parking brake was failing to hold the loaded truck on the hill. i got back to the shop, no questions asked pull it into the shop..... we will adjust the brakes over the weekend, if it needs shoes consider it done. i like my co-workers they are nice and help give me a little direction when needed. today i did the usual downtown construction job, when that job was done i was asked to pick up a load of stone and drop it off in hamburg. cool. i called on the company radio and another driver told me exactly where it gets dumped, they even give me a better route then the one i was going to take so i could avoid rush hour I90 traffic. the boss is great, she treats the drivers with respect and if everything is going smoothly she doesnt bother you at all...... only for additional orders.

i have nothing but nice things to say so far. i feel i have made a great choice. sometimes leaving a job that doesnt feel right (like my last job) to go to something ends up being the right thing to do

the boss has on several occasions told me im doing a good job, heck last night i got a text telling me im doing great. i have worked for so many ungrateful people in different industries. she's one of the better boss's i have had anywhere in any industry not just trucking.

News Flash! The one lady, consisting of Serafini's HR department. Found dead, under a huge mountain of employment applications. Attending Coroner reported he's never seen anything like it. "She suffocated to death!?"

she's not the only person running the place but ultimately she is the boss. i dont think there is anything wrong with talking positively about someone

It's just a joke... Of course we don't want her dead, but I take that as a compliment, not just to her, but overall for the company! LOL

who knows, im not going around making accusations that's for sure. if they treat me well, pay well, and maintain their trucks that's where my concern starts and ends. there is no question they are Italian but so what.
