Since our dismissal from Werner I and my husband took the weekend to cool down and recollect and are now actively seeking employment again. We put in about 40 apps online at pretty much every trucking company (company driver)I could come up with.

We've heard back from: US Xpress, Deboer, Southren Cal, Tango, and Interstate.

We've eliminated Deboer, Southren, and Tango as options due to the low pay.

US Xpress is offering around 46 cpm split.
Interstate is offering about the same.

We don't really like either but leaning toward Interstate so far. I am uninterested in both of them really, neither have a great rep. And I am NOT enthused with automatic trans.

But I am asking for CURRENT drivers of either of these two to chime in about these two. To note: He has 8+ years, I have 1+ years, we team, and we have a pet.

I am still trying to convince him to quit the company gig and lets give owner op a swing but he's hestiant and we do have bills.

Werner is on a firing spree right now and anyone with any reason to be fired will be fired over the next 3 weeks. Sadly we had a couple late loads that were grounds for dismissal.

IROC, FYI, Interstate treats their teams pretty well. I don't know how things are there now haven't been there since May. One thing I can tell you for sure they will screw you out of your pet deposit. I paid them $750.00 and they gave me bac $200.00 saying my truck needed cleaning and detailed because of my dog. I don't think so!!

I am a pessimitic when it comes to deposits. I never expect 1 dime back. Hell werner still owes me 775 from my deposit when the switched to the new system.

Have you checked out Tri-State Motor Transit Co? They are one of the highest paying team ops out there but they do a LOT of hazmat and military stuff from what I hear.

We currently have 300 bucks and no hazmat, well I have hazmat, tankers, and triples passed, but I'd have to run up to DMV and get it added to my liscense at 10.00 a pop. He doesnt have haz mat though, just tanker. I like the pay rate. But I don't have 2 years, so that might complicate, I can call. They might cover the hazmat, some companies do. Its not the test its the 200 dollar background check -_-

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. At least the phone call is still free.
