Trainer flashed his high beams at another trucker driving southbound because he saw a CHP on the road bout a half mile back. Is this a good signal to warn other truckers about the 5.0's? would like to know

No. It's not. How is one supposed to know that by him flashing his brights that there is a cop??

It used to matter, but these days of sissies and under 30 yr old drivers, none of them know what he means. Even asking this tells me all I need to know.

Nothing wrong with that if done within a mile or two. Also for other incidents such as crashes or stopped or slowed traffic where a heads up would be helpful.

Fairly standard to flash the lights to warn of a hazard ahead.

I flash to warn oncoming of hazards. Never flash to warn of cops ever since I saw cops go after a 4 wheeler that did it.

They can go after all they want, it's been knocked down in court as a 1st amendment deal in so many states, so many times, that even the cops know better now, so stop listening to Gramps and look things up for yourself before posting. Google watches everything we do, but it's also the educated persons greatest Ally.

Not listening to anyone, I saw it for myself.

I may win in court, but who wants the hassle and lost income.

Why is everyone so afraid of the cops anyway? Stop speeding and take care of your #### equipment and you got nothing to worry about.
