I live in Modesto, & W/S has a terminal Here, & Swift has one in Lathrop (25min on 99 away). I have filled out a TON of online apps, but no one seems to want to hire me. I have 2 not at faults (12/07 & 5/09), & a red light violation 12/07. So, I think my hopes of GTI or DOT foods are out the door...So out of the 2 is it a coin toss, or does one really make more than the other. This is kinda tough for me. I am one of the few that WANT to be a trucker...always have (my dad owned a 72 KW when I was a kid, & I love life on the road..was a wild land fire fighter when I was younger).

So, who do I choose....& I have read hours of threads on each.

sounds like you had a few mishaps in a short amount of time. i'm familiar with your area and there are a lot of smaller fleet companies there, maybe one of them would be willing to give you a chance. be persistant...
