    Hey guys and gals,

I have sold my dump truck in hopes to get a tractor/trailer setup.

I keep running across frameless dump trailers for less money than framed ones.

I know very little about the difference between them. Can anyone enlighten me about the good/bad/evil about these frameless trailers. Are they good, do they suck?

Im thinking I am going to be getting a bottom dump for spreading, and the end dump for everything else.

Any advice/discussion is welcome and appreciated!

Frames tend to be less prone to flopping over. Thus most steel mills in my area Ohio Kentucky and Indiana wont allow frameless trailers to dump.
Frameles due tend to be lighter. I would encourage you to aske operator's in your area or vocation what would be best.
Grain, fertilizer and other ag products as well as aggregate don't seem to be as restrictive as to trailer type.
