First question is why would anyone want a 07? cant go to Cali, has crappy fuel mileage, usually emissions issues. Go pre 02, better fuel mileage, cheaper and no emissions failures. Make it your truck. Its used to make you money, not for you to pay into constantly. Gotta love Blind Drivers signature, and NEVER forget it.

    Mooose Thanks this.

It sounds like it's a good deal. Find out how long ago the engine was rebuilt (mileage at rebuild) and what type of rebuild. Top end or full rebuild? If you buy make sure you get the the paper work for the rebuild. Is it a manual transmission or auto shift? What's overall condition of truck? Where there any other recent repairs any service records on truck. Hows the rubber? Will it be DOT inspected? Check other truck prices and compare i.e. Truck Paper, Commercial Truck Trader and ebay? I just got a 2007 and yours sounds like a better deal, but I didn't want to put all my cash in to the down payment. Like Canadian said about Cali, make sure that this truck will meet the standards of where you are going to run it! Also know that warranty is probably on mechanical, and a lot of companys are looking for any reason not to pay out on warranty. I would try to get feed back on the dealer your getting it from. Overall Detroits are easier to work on, easy to get parts and usually have a long engine life.
