The bigger companies are probably hiring, but they're only hiring due to high rate of rollover, which is nothing new to them.

now i might not no what im talking about, ive only been out here for 45 plus years but here is what i have found out .
now i keep hearing that drivers cant find a load and freight is slow and all the gloom and doom that goes with it .
now this time of year freight is always a little slow but it has not stopped, i took about two hours last night pulling up one load board after aother and there all full of loads all of them, now the loads might not be going to where you want to go but there there and in this business you cant always go where you want you got to turn and burn to make money.
now my trucks are parked and have been for over amonth except one and it hauls for the DOD and they take priority when they call i go but the rest are sitting not because there are no loads but because i dont haul cheap freight and right now there is a lot of that and for the most part you can blame the wonderfull truck brokers you get 90 cents they get 5 bucks somthing wrong with that picture .
but the point is if you want to run you can run, im fortunate all my trucks are payed for i can afford to be a little idependent but it wasent always that way it took awhile . but the work is there you just have to hold out for a good price.
    GOOD LUCK TO ALL. SOUTHERNPRIDE
