I am currently a bedbugger for UVL, and have been for 10 years (3 OTR). I am looking at, and filing all the paperwork, driving for Landstar. I have spent my whole career in the HHG hauling and haven't had any experience running freight. I am going into dry van as it's similar to the moving vans I run now. I was just wondering any O/O go from HHG to freight on Ire that would want to share how it is working for them? Is the pay similar? Better? Worse? I just am definitely leaving my comfort zone with auto loans and a mortgage to pay for. Would appreciate anyones input that has made a similar switch.
